BIM Level 2 has been mandatory on centrally procured public projects since 2016. The UK has fully adopted ISO 19650 as the reference framework and is progressing toward BIM Level 3.

Germany, France & Netherlands (BIM required on federal / major infrastructure); Nordic pioneers Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland (mature since 2007); Spain (public projects >€2M); Italy (mandate rolling out through 2025); Ireland (NDP mandate from 2024); Czech Republic (BIM Act 2027).

No federal mandate, but the General Services Administration (GSA), US Army Corps of Engineers and Department of Veterans Affairs all require BIM. State-level and private-sector projects follow similar standards.

ISO 19650 (parts 1, 2 and 3) is our default. We adapt to project-specific EIR/AIR and to authority requirements, including Dubai Municipality BIM guidance, UK BIM Level 2 workflows, and other regional frameworks.
